Abstract

The integration of technology into educational administration has transformed how schools

operate and has significantly improved efficiency, transparency, and accountability by

automating record keeping, enhancing communication, and enabling data-driven decision-

making. Digital tools streamline administrative tasks, support academic planning, and improve

stakeholder engagement through platforms like emails and learning management systems,

particularly at the senior secondary level. This paper examines how technology enhances

management efficiency, improves communication, and facilitates data-driven decision-making in

senior secondary schools in Kano State. Key areas of integration include administration,

academics, communication, infrastructure, and finance. While the benefits are substantial, the

paper however, also discuss challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, limited funding, poor

internet access, and insufficient staff training hinder effective implementation. and proposes

strategies for successful implementation To address these issues, the paper advocates for strong

ICT policies, capacity-building initiatives, and collaboration among government, private sectors,

and educational stakeholders to ensure equitable access and sustainable technological

integration for improved school management and learning outcomes in Kano State
